要贴进聊天窗口、工单或幻灯片的，往往不是「那份 Word」，而是它第一眼的样子。这条链路是 Word → HTML → PNG：mammoth 先把文档变成语义化 HTML（标题、列表、表格、内嵌图片），再把整页画到画布上导出成一张图。它产的是「一页到底」的一张长图，不是每页一张——好处是一眼看完、坏处是版式不会照 Word 的来。What goes into a chat window, a ticket or a slide is rarely «that Word file» but the first thing it looks like. This route is Word → HTML → PNG: mammoth turns the document into semantic HTML — headings, lists, tables, embedded images — and the whole page is drawn to a canvas and exported as one image. You get a single strip running to the end of the document, not one image per page: good for taking it in at a glance, and it will not follow Word’s pagination.

- 以 data URI 内嵌的图片随文档一起渲染，但跟得过去的只有 `png / jpeg / gif / webp / bmp / avif / ico` 这几种；白名单外的类型与引用不到字节的相对路径都会在图上留一处虚线方框，并按张数说明丢了哪几张，而不是悄悄留白Images embedded as data URIs render with the document; where a relative reference cannot be resolved, the result says how many were dropped instead of quietly leaving blanks
- 最长边可以指定（输出图片参数里的那一格），适合贴进宽度受限的地方；它按几何等比缩，不改版式The longest edge is settable (the output option for it), which is what you want where width is fixed — it scales geometrically and leaves the layout alone
- 文档解析不出内容时会直接报「没有可转换的内容」，而不是交出一张空白 PNG 报成功A document with nothing convertible fails with «no convertible content» rather than handing back a blank PNG marked as success
如实说明的限制What it does not do
- 一张到底的长图，不按 Word 的分页走：想要「每页一张图」，先走 Word 转 PDF，再把 PDF 整本转图片——后者按 PDF 的页出一组图（多页打成一个 ZIP），而那份分页是浏览器排的，不是 Word 的One long strip, not Word’s pagination: for one image per page, take Word to PDF first and then convert that PDF to images — that route works page by page (several pages arrive as a ZIP), and its pages are laid out by the browser, not by Word
- 版式由渲染用的那套默认样式决定（正文最大宽度 800 px、自己的字号阶梯与配色），Word 里的页边距、分栏与主题不会照搬Layout comes from the default stylesheet used at render time — an 800 px measure with its own type scale and colours — so Word’s margins, columns and theme are not copied
- 图里是像素，文字不能选中；要可再编辑请走 Word 转 HTML 或 Word 转 MarkdownThe image is pixels, so its text is not selectable. For something still editable, use Word to HTML or Word to Markdown
- 整页高度超过 32768 px 会明确报错而不是截一半——浏览器远超该高度时交回的是空白画布，「成功但全白」比一条错误难查得多Going past 32768 px of page height is an error rather than a truncated picture — far above that a browser returns a blank canvas, and «succeeded but all white» is much harder to diagnose than a clear failure

- 一批最多 200 个文件，单个文件上限 100 MB；多个 .docx 一起转会逐个产出各自的 PNGUp to 200 files per batch and 100 MB per file; several .docx files produce one PNG each

能得到「每页一张 PNG」吗？Can I get one PNG per page?
这条链路给不了——它把整篇文档画成一张图。要每页一张，走两步：Word 转 PDF，再 PDF 转图片，后者会按 PDF 的页出一组图（多页时打成一个 ZIP）。Not on this route, which draws the whole document as one image. Do it in two steps: Word to PDF, then PDF to image — that one works page by page and packages several pages as a ZIP.
图片里的字能复制吗？Can the text in the image be copied?
不能，PNG 是位图。要复制文字就用 Word 转 HTML 或 Word 转 Markdown；这条路的目的是「把文档的样子发出去」。No — a PNG is a bitmap. For copyable text use Word to HTML or Word to Markdown; this route exists to send the document’s appearance.
合同要贴进工单，文件会外发吗？If I attach a contract to a ticket, does the file leave my machine?
转换这一步不会：只申请 storage 权限、没有 host 权限，产物里没有从网络取来的代码，解析与渲染都在标签页里完成。附到工单上那一步是你自己的动作。The conversion does not: the storage permission only, no host permissions, no remotely hosted code in the bundle, and parsing and rendering both happen in the tab. Attaching it to a ticket is your own action.
不需要账号，也不需要联网：装好扩展后点图标，在新标签页里打开工作台，文件从磁盘直接选。No account and no network: install the extension, click its icon, and the workbench opens in a new tab reading straight off your disk.
